Perfect for commutes
I believe this is much more useful for tablets (or laptops like the microsoft surface that you can use a pen with) as opposed to a small laptop as this commuter/lightweight design doesnt have space for a mouse. I do love the nice padding on the bottom so it makes it comfortable to place it on your lap - and not feel the heat from the device. It has 20 different heights so many different viewing options to fit your needs. It has a fold-out ledge at the bottom and a non-slip bar support up top so I wasnt worried about it not being stable. Its durable and sleek design easily fit into my backpack with my laptop & tablet. Perfect companion for rides on a train or airplane or perhaps on a roadtrip!
Helpful, & Functional
This is a functional laptop stand that is very helpful, & functional. It allows you to adjust the tilt of the laptop for optimal positioning, & comfort. The only issue I found us that sometime the lever gives way so the positioning falls. But other than this it is sturdy, & very helpful.
Great for laptops
I really like how this lap desk works.The pros is that it holds my laptop well on my lap and I can lay down while working on my laptop.It stands up well and it holds well too.I highly recommended it you won't be disappointed.
LapGear Commuter Lap Desk
This was a little more flimsy than I would have thought/liked. It's plastic - I thought it would be more sturdy. It doesn't really do what the picture shows, but it does have a cushioned side and that's nice. I'm actually using it now - I have my laptop sitting on it and it on my lap. It does have different ways to "flip" it to do things, but they aren't great angles.
