The size and shape are perfect. Trouble is the surface is so slippery, one little shuffle in your chair and your laptop goes flying. I glued a rubber placemat to the surface to help prevent it from flying. Too bad they don't make ones with non-skid surfaces.

Multiple uses and sleek
This lap desk is surprisingly comfortable and is great for many uses. I keep it in the living room so my family has access to it when they need it, which is quite often. My kids use it for homework which they can easily complete from the comfort of the couch. I use this for my lap top and I like that it helps my computer stay in place and safe from falls or accidents by use of the bumper pad in the front, it also helps support my wrists as I type. It has a really soft and moldable under side that conforms well to my lap. The woodgrain on the top is nice quality and satisfies my aesthetics appeal.

I love this lap desk. It keeps my computer from overheating in my lap. It's a much more ergonomic set up for when I want to do work from my couch. It's big enough for my 13" macbook pro. I like the gel cushion for extra wrist support while typing.

I was using a flimsy plastic lap desk and upgraded to this and LOVE it. It is so comfortable, something I was a little worried about with the wrist padding. There is plenty of room for my laptop and mouse. I would definitely recommend this to students and professionals.
Works Great!
I was looking for something sturdy to use to write letter and pay bills and this was exactly what I needed. The soft underside is very comfortable even when I�ve been working for a while. The wood grain top looks nice too.
