I bought this lap desk to use it for drawing, not to put a computer on it. For my purposes it is too small. There is minimal space for the 8.5 x 11" paper I use. The desk itself is sturdy and the cushion comfortable and design lovely, but I could have used a few more inches in size in either direction.
